Strengthscope360™ FAQs
I work alone, should I still find raters for the 360 feedback?
Yes. For the accreditation training, it’s important that you complete a full Strengthscope360™ report. This allows you to experience the process first‑hand, see how the report works, and take part in a meaningful debrief using your own feedback, just as your clients will.
Even if you work independently, you can still identify people who know your work well enough to offer useful insights. Raters don’t need to be colleagues; they can include:
Former teammates or managers
Clients you collaborate closely with
Professional partners or peers
Volunteers, board members, or community contacts, if relevant
Strengths-based feedback is most powerful when it comes from a broad range of people who’ve seen you in action. Think about who has experienced your contribution, your energy, and your impact. Those voices will help bring your Strengthscope360™ to life and enrich your learning experience.
I have completed the standard Strengthscope® report, where do I go to complete Strengthscope360™ on portal?
After signing into StrengthsPortal™, look for a blue tile on your dashboard in the top-left. Click this tile to start or resume your assessment. If you’ve been assigned a Strengthscope360™report after completing a Strengthscope® assessment, a new section will be added to your existing activity.
My raters get an error message when completing feedback.
Raters have a deadline to complete their feedback and after this the link that they are provided with will expire. However, it is possible to amend this rater deadline. To do this you can either contact the person within your organisation who manages your Strengthscope® account or you can send us a message by clicking on the chat widget on the bottom-right of your screen.
StrengthscopeLeader™ FAQs
I am not a ‘leader’, do I still need to complete the StrengthscopeLeader™ report?
You do not need an official leadership title to complete the StrengthscopeLeader™ report. We all have leadership capabilities, regardless of role or level. Completing this report is essential for full participation in the accreditation process and will provide valuable insights into how you lead authentically, whether through influencing, motivating, or guiding others.
Even if your current responsibilities don’t include formal leadership, you will gain meaningful understanding of your leadership capacity and how to apply it in your context.
Do I need to complete a StrengthscopeLeader™ report even though I have completed a Strengthscope360™report already?
Yes. The StrengthscopeLeader™ report contains different data and insights compared to the Strengthscope360™ report. To gain the full value of the leadership assessment and participate effectively in your accreditation, you will need to complete the feedback elements for the Leader report.
While both tools offer rich, strengths-based feedback, the StrengthscopeLeader™ report provides a completely different lens. It focuses specifically on 16 leadership behaviours, skills and capabilities, grouped under four key leadership habit areas:
Sharing Vision
Sparking Engagement
Skilfully Executing
Sustaining Progress
These habits form the foundation of effective leadership and are unique to the StrengthscopeLeader™ assessment. They go far beyond what the Strengthscope360™ explores.
Completing the Leader report ensures you can:
Experience how leadership‑specific feedback is gathered and interpreted
Understand how strengths connect to real leadership behaviours
Participate fully in your accreditation training, including the live debrief
See first‑hand how the tool supports leadership development journeys
Even if you’ve already completed a Strengthscope360™, the Leader assessment will give you new insights designed specifically for leadership impact which is essential for working confidently with leaders and teams using the StrengthscopeLeader™ framework.
I want to invite the same raters from my Strengthscope360™, will they have to fill out the same feedback?
If you choose to invite the same raters, they will be asked to provide new feedback, but it won’t be the same as before. The StrengthscopeLeader™ assessment gathers different, more leadership‑specific insights that go beyond the Strengthscope360™.
While there may be a few familiar elements, the Leader report focuses on 16 leadership behaviours across four key leadership habit areas: Sharing Vision, Sparking Engagement, Skilfully Executing, and Sustaining Progress. These behaviours are not assessed in the Strengthscope360™.
Because of this:
Your raters will respond to new and extended questions designed specifically to explore your leadership impact.
Their feedback will contribute to a richer, more focused understanding of your leadership strengths and development priorities.
You’ll get a far deeper picture of how you lead, aligned to the StrengthscopeLeader™ model.
Inviting the same raters can be helpful as they already know your work, but they will be completing a distinct set of feedback to bring your StrengthscopeLeader™ report to life.
Where can I access my StrengthscopeLeader™ report?
You cannot download the report yourself via the StrengthsPortal™. It will be sent to you by email from the individual who invited you to complete the report. The reason for this that the report is in‑depth and includes insights into potential performance risks, so it’s always recommended that your first review is supported by an accredited Strengthscope® practitioner.
If you are completing an Accreditation, the events team will send your StrengthscopeLeader™ report to you the day before the training start date, provided you have at least two raters who have completed feedback.
