Anyone can say that they have developed a tool that can provide information on human behaviour and performance, without proper testing or achieving any particular standards. For a tool to be termed ‘psychometric’, it needs to have been developed in a way that makes sure it is fit for purpose. That it is reliable, valid and that it measures people accurately. So you can trust the results you get from it.

Strengthscope® is the first strengths assessment to achieve Registered Test Status with the UK’s British Psychological Society (BPS)

It is the only strengths-based assessment in the world to have achieved this highly prestigious status, based on rigorous testing for reliability, validity and ‘fit for purpose’. The standards laid down by the BPS are based on European Federation of Psychologists' Associations (EFPA) guidelines, which are recognised as a global gold standard.

– The BPS has confirmed that Strengthscope®:

– Measures the 24 strengths in the model reliably over time

– Predicts high performance at work

– Measures what energises and motivates people at work to help them discover areas where they can achieve peak performance and high engagement (in this sense, Strengthscope® differs from traditional personality measures that help explain behaviour and preferences).
